I have a commercial version of VS2010 and installed using rubyinstaller along w/prerequisite ruby interpreter and jruby. It appears to have installed  correctly, but ruby template is  not shown when starting new project in VS2010.  What am I missing?

This is normally caused by having Visual Studio on a drive other than C. The RiS installer uses the base MSInstall system which isn't intelligent enough to figure this out by itself - and the templates always get installed to the C drive. All you need to do is copy the templates across to the corresponding place on the (say, D) drive and then install the templates using a command line 'devenv /installvstemplates'.

If you need more detailed info I can dig out the instructions I used last time this occurred.

Let me know if you need more info.

New hurdle.
How can I change installed location of Ruby interpreter?  I have it @ 'D:\Program Files\ruby\bin\ruby.exe' not @ C: drive as vs2010 is expecting.

Global options are changed via Tools, Options, Projects and Solutions, Ruby In Steel. This sets options for all new projects. Bear in miind that these options may be overridden (so some won't change options that were previously set for existing projects). To change options for an existing project use Project, Properties.
