Ruby in Steel All In one Installer hanging

my install is hanging. See here:
http://screencast.com/t/w99lMNaH
I'm on a Win XP Pro sp 3, 3.5 gb ram, Pentium 4
It got past the .Net install, apparently the VS shell, went into the RubyGems install , can't tell how far it went , see consolo in image provided. It did not get into the RiS install itself i.e. never got prompted for that installer.
Any clues ?
thanks

I don't think it hangs. What is happening is that the Rails download is failing. I'm presuming that everything else including Ruby and Ruby In Steel installed ok. This error occurs because the Rails gem installer has recently been updated to version 3 but the Ruby In Steel installer expects version 2. You need to install rails 2 specifically from the commandline with this command:
Code:
gem install rails --version=2.3.8
best wishes

By the way, if you have problems installing Rails or any of its requirements (Gems, Databases etc.) this is a good place to look for help:

cool, at first I want to go thru the examples in your Ruby books and get a feel for RiS by going thru that process thus I'm not that Rails focused initially. Done a few Rails projects in another IDE.
re: install I was never prompted for the location of RiS but perhaps it just knows to install itself somewhere where VS can find it since its a plugin to VS.
I'll try to do the manual Rails download
thanks

I have confirmed that RiS did not install and neither did ProjectAggregator had to do that manually but I at least was now able to start VS and setup a Ruby project.
