Serial number is null or empty

I am using vs2008 professional and i downloaded and installed RiS (60 days trial, "rubyinsteelde_2008.zip") two days ago.
I have installed ruby and ruby on rails before.
At first everything worked fine, but the next day i get this message as i try to open a RIS project:

There is a problem with package initialization.
The error is 'Serial number is null or empty'.
Please contact SapphireSteel Software support for assistance.

I searched this forum for similar cases and found one.
I uninstalled and reinstalled RIS but i had no luck.
"Key.bin" file is located in the same directory where i unzipped all the installation files.
I use "setup.exe" to install RiS.

What should i try next ?

I'm afraid the old Trial key just expired. To fix it, uninstall the current version and download the new version (the features are the same but it has a new key). That should get you up and running again. Download page is here:
