What’s Happening With IronRuby?

The road to Ruby on .NET...

It’s no secret that we are very interested in Microsoft’s development of IronRuby - a version of Ruby for .NET. We already have an IronRuby form designer which we’ve demoed plus some IronRuby IntelliSense, though both of these (like IronRuby itself) are very much at a pre-release stage.

We will continue to develop and refine these - and other IronRuby-specific features - as the development of IronRuby progresses.

So how is the development of IronRuby coming along?

The leader of the IronRuby project is John Lam. InfoQ has recently published a fairly in-depth interview with John. If you are interested in IronRuby, I’d strongly recommend that you go and read this article as it fills out some important details....
